Spanish 2 will begin with a short examination in order to evaluate where each student is in his or her pursuit of the Spanish language.  From there, we will focus in on a total of 30 Spanish synergy verbs that combine easily with other Spanish words to form many commonly used Spanish expressions.  We will also work on learning what are called “brick and mortar” words that when combined with our power verbs will help students get a sense of how real Spanish is put together and spoken.

Verbal participation in class along with writing assignments will be used for evaluation.  Verbal participation will help students be able to think on their feet and translate words as they go as communication with native Spanish speakers is our ultimate goal.  No textbook will be required.  The instructor will provide PDF’s of class material.
