True North Homeschool Academy Teacher
Angie is teaching High School American History, Writing, Literature and Composition, and Psychology, as well as heading up the Mom’s Membership through True North Homeschool Academy.
Mrs. Ferrell lives in southwestern Ohio with her husband of 23 years, her youngest child, and several pets. Mrs. Ferrell has many hobbies, including gardening, bicycling, quilting, photography, writing, and curriculum development. She is an avid reader and in constant pursuit of new challenges.
Professional Degrees & Experience
Mrs. Ferrell began her 17-year career in Human Services with an associate degree in Mental Health, later completing a bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology and various certifications in chemical dependency, social work, and counseling.
After this she answered the call to become a homemaker and home educator. Over the past 14 years, she successfully homeschooled her oldest child to graduation, founded a local home school support and activity group, and created a non-profit classical co-op, all while pursuing an assortment of other vocations, including tutoring high schoolers. In 2021, she completed her master’s degree in Education at Park University where she took some excellent coursework in eLearning, curriculum design, and program development.
