Jared Burdick is a 2nd generation homeschooler who has spent his life living throughout the Midwest. He grew up on his parents and grandparents dairy farm having the time of his life working along side his dad and grandfather as well as his 2 brothers. Jared competed in speech and debate for 4 years in high school with finals appearances in Team Policy debate, placing at Nationals. In 2016 he accepted a basketball scholarship to Northwest Kansas Technical College where he spent a year getting his Associates Degree in Welding Technology. Upon graduating he moved to Wamego, Kansas to work for Caterpillar Work Tools as a welder. Shortly after moving to Wamego he took an opportunity to be the Team Policy coach for CHIEF Speech & Debate club. At the end of the first year of coaching He directed the first STOA tournament in Kansas which brought students in from 6 different states from California to Virginia.
Jared Burdick is now the head coach for CHIEF Speech & Debate club and is working to build forensics clubs all over the country, especially in the Midwest. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and doing anything he can to serve his church, and above all, glorifying his Savior Jesus Christ.
Mr. Burdick will be facilitating one of the first ever STOA Forensics Clubs on-line, allowing students to get quality coaching in Speech and Forensics, and compete in STOA sponsored competitions
