Our family has homeschooled for over 25 years, an astounding number, even to me! Collectively True North Homeschool Academy teachers have homeschooled and been homeschooled for a couple of hundred years! We’ve been on both sides of what it means to homeschool- we currently have six teachers on staff who were homeschooled themselves! Additionally, we all have years of experience teaching, including on-line teaching, as you’d expect.

The more we know, the more we– well, obviously know. And at the same time, the more we realize we don’t know. Part of what makes us us great teachers is our wonder about what we have yet to discover and our excitement about learning it. A great teacher is a great student!

Among our faculty, you will find retired farmers, teachers and computer nerds, graduate students, IT gurus, missionaries, a Rabbi, linguists and business owners. What we all have in common is our love of learning and our love of teaching!

Algebra 2 is a comprehensive math class which focuses on developing reasoning skills through the discussions of advanced algebra concepts such as quadratic equations, polynomials, complex numbers, logarithms and trigonometry. Students will learn to solve algebraic functions and graph them.
