Classical Memory I
Classical Memory I provides community and support as your students discover seven subject areas that will lay a fantastic foundation for learning throughout their lives.
This 30-week program will include memory work in the following areas: History, Math, Science, Latin, English Grammar, Scripture, Geography, Hymn, Timeline. Each live online class will cover new memory, memory review and then dive more deeply into a few subjects each week, providing community, accountability, and inspiration!
Classical Memory I is a great alternative to traditional Social Studies, as it provides young learners with “memory pegs” that will serve them well as they grow and develop as students. As students delve more deeply into Science, History and English, those memory pegs create a complex and integrated whole for the students, allowing them to integrate and connect across subject areas.
This program is based on Classical Pedagogy and provides a wholesome and grand overview of history, as well as other subject areas. History is often particularly of great interest to young learners as it gives them a sense of time and place in the world.
Memory is the mother of learning.
