Foundations of Faith: God’s Existence and Creation is a one semester class in which students will examine the evidence for the God of the Bible. We’ll look at the reason for our faith, seek to answer important life questions and more. Students will develop tools and skills necessary to examine and understand their own faith and be equipped to be defenders of their faith.
Do you ever doubt that God exists or that He made this world? Nearly everyone at sometime in their lives doubts these things. In this course, we will examine the evidence for God. We will look at the reason for our faith, seek to answer the most important question in life, and more.
Psalm 19 states, “The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmaments shows His handiwork.”
What do the heavens and the firmament show us that point to God? These things and more will be examined in this class. After looking at these things you will be better equipped to be defenders of the faith.
Foundations of Faith: God’s Existence and Creation will be taught in a lecture/discussion combination. It is expected the student will have read the chapter prior to class.
Grades will be determined by: weekly homework, midterm, final and an essay.
