In this course, we will begin to learn Hebrew conversation, reading and writing, including grammar and vocabulary.  We will learn how Hebrew has developed and continues to develop.  In this way, we will appreciate the central role Hebrew plays in all aspects of modern Jewish and Israeli life. This is a perfect tie-in to the Biblical Hebrew course and will give students a more thorough understanding of the importance of Jewish History, culture and language in modern life.
