Kindergarten is a fun and interactive online class for four, five, and six-year-old students, eager to learn! The focus in this one semester class will be on educational basics to set your students up for future academic success! Natasha Jones will guide your children twice a week introducing and reviewing foundational educational concepts: number and letter literacy, colors, shapes and more!
This class is an excellent introduction to on-line learning for younger students. Engaging and fun, students will learn how, with the aid of a parent, to conduct themselves online, get to know other True North Homeschool Academy students and have their own dedicated time of learning.
Purchase the recommended guide for easy and fun lessons for the parent to use during the rest of the week in all the subject areas. Or, check out our Getting Started Guide: Homeschooling Pre-school and Kindergarten, and What My Child Needs to Learn Before First Grade.

Young students are easily distracted and distracting! Our goal is to create a wonderful year of learning for all of our Kindergarten students! It is recommended that students have a parent, or mature older sibling with them during class to assist them with the technological side of the class, and so students learn appropriate online behavior, such as when to “mute” themselves, when to respond appropriately, when they are being disruptive etc, so that that the class remains a positive learning environment for all students!. Not only will your students learn foundational academic skills, but the soft skill of communication as well!
