Zoology
Zoology students will explore the world of the animal kingdom in the full year class. The course of study will include conservation & endangered species, ecosystems & food webs, in depth studies of the different classes of animals, along with a study of famous conservationists. Students will learn science study & readiness skills, how to keep a year long science journal/notebook & have an introduction to dissections. This is a great class to get students prepared to tackle high school level science classes & labs!
This class is suitable for junior high students grades 6-8 OR as a high school science elective.
PREREQUISITES: Student must have successfully completed an upper elementary science course and should be ready to move up to the pacing of a junior high level course.
