Stacey teaches live online classes for Elementary students. These classes include Claritas Cycles I, II, IV, as well as Art Club during the Summer Semester for True North Academy.
Stacey lives in Kansas. She serves in her church’s children’s ministry and on many occasions participates in the skits that her church puts on for the kids. Her family developed the Cross Seven educational resources and website.
She is the narrator and writer for History Videos for Kids based on the History lessons learned in Claritas Classical Memory Work. Stacey is a competitive soccer player and she plans on playing soccer as long as she can. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family and friends, read, do arts and crafts, and plan parties.
Stacey is a homeschooled student herself. She is the second of six children and she often steps in for her mom to help teach them their lessons. She created sign language videos for the Cross Seven website and served as an assistant at the Kansas Home Educators Expo.
As an assistant her responsibilities include introducing the featured speakers and working at the Cross Seven booth with her family.
I have had the honor of working with Lisa Nehring over the course of many years, both as a colleague and as an instructor for my middle school child. She is well versed in the teaching of literature, composition, and writing to a variety of ages. Lisa clearly states objectives and offers realistic goals to her students. As a parent and home educator, she offered suggestions and guidance that were attainable and gave me the confidence to guide my child towards success. Lisa has years of experience and insight into a variety of educational strategies and programs. As a fellow educator and homeschooling parent, her expertise and encouragement are top-notch. We have had multiple opportunities to collaborate and for me (and my child) to benefit from her wisdom. Any student or parent who has the opportunity to work with Lisa will benefit and be equipped to move forward in their educational journey.
